24 Hour Crisis Line

The national 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a network of local crisis centers that provide free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the US. From kids to grandparents to college students, 988 has trained crisis counselors who can help Iowans of any age. We can all help prevent suicide. There is hope.

Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Hearing Loss: The network of crisis centers offers many services for people who are deaf and hard of hearing, including veterans.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness offers education and connection to support groups for mental health.
